Lalor Bowling Club Inc. has two outstanding grass bowling greens which have been considered by other bowlers to be the best greens in Victoria! So much so that non-members are always asking to practice on the greens, but unfortunately MEMBERS come first.

Our greens are named in honour of two club members who have given outstanding service to the Lalor Bowling Club over 50 years.
The front green is named after Doug Kneebone and was so named on the 31st August 2019, Doug is still an active member of the club on and off the green. Doug is not only a Life Member of the Lalor Bowling Club but is also a Life Member of Bowls Victoria.
The back green was named on the 16th January 2022 in honour of the services by Max Penney.
